Eastern Nephrology Associates merged with Southeastern Nephrology Associates in June 2019, the merger allowed the combined practice to provide move services to patients in eastern North Carolina. Both businesses had been in operation since 1975, and the new organization operates as Eastern Nephrology Associates.
The nephrologists at Eastern Nephrology Associates are committed to providing high-quality nephrology, kidney dialysis, kidney transplant and hypertension care for patients. The practice will see patients in its 10 office and 25 dialysis centers throughout eastern and southeastern North Carolina and South Carolina.
The practice includes 27 physician partners, 4 associate physicians, and 14 advanced practitioners. Collectively, the practice manages more than 2,200 dialysis patients, operates two vascular access centers, provides a fully integrated laboratory, manages kidney transplant patients, and oversees a robust clinical trials program.
Eastern Nephrology Associates has acquired Carolina Kidney & Vascular, PA, with offices in Goldsboro and Clinton, NC.
