Interventional Nephrologist

Eastern Nephrology Associates, PLLC (ENA) has been providing the most comprehensive nephrology care to the patients and communities of Eastern North Carolina for more than 42 years. From 3 office locations in Greenville, Kinston and New Bern, our 19 nephrologists deliver state of the art medical management to patients with End Stage Renal Disease(ESRD), chronic kidney disease, and kidney transplant, to include expert vascular access care. ENA has developed a robust, home grown research division which continues to grow in size and scope. We provide care to more than 1,200 ESRD patients. Our practice operates 2 vascular access centers in a Joint Venture relationship with a national access care company with a procedural volume of more than 3,600 cases per year.

We are looking for highly motivated, ASDIN certified, Interventional Nephrologist with at least 2 years of proven interventional practice efficiency to join our Greenville practice location. Twenty five percent of the physician time will be spent providing Vascular access services at the access center(s). The remainder of the physician time and effort will be devoted to providing inpatient and outpatient care to the practices’ ESRD, and CKD patients. Additionally, some time may be available to devote to the growing clinical research efforts of Eastern Nephrology Associates Research division.

Greenville is located in Eastern NC and is one of the fastest growing urban centers in the state. I-95 is accessible within 45 minutes and Raleigh is just over an hour. Outdoor enthusiasts have access to some of the most beautiful beaches and Intercostal waterways. Oriental (the sailing capital of NC) and the Outer Banks are accessible within 2 hours. Greenville is a family oriented-community with a desirable climate with mild winters and four seasons. Our office is seeking a Floating Certified Medical Assistant.  Primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to; checking out patients, obtaining vital signs and verifying patient medications, giving injections, scheduling referral appointments, assisting with answering the phone and assisting the providers and nursing staff as needed.  We are looking for a highly motivated individual who can multi-task and be a team player in a fast paced environment. 

This individual should have excellent communication skills, strong people skills, be familiar with medical terminology, be detail oriented, have strong critical thinking skills and have excellent computer skills. Phlebotomy experience or a desire to learn this skill is a plus.  Individuals who have worked with Allscripts, or similar EHR is preferred.  Certification is required for this Medical Assistant position.
